I am Syndra, sovereign of power.
I do not have time for your petty games.
Try to control me and I will break you, as I did the others.

((An ask/RP blog for Syndra, the Dark Sovereign.))
What's this Noxian Syndra you talk about? (Sorry my blog is recent)

I recently had the thought that Syndra would be several things if she was Noxian:

  1. Mentally stable
  2. Socially healthy
  3. And, most importantly, Absolutely terrifying with her power.

Black Rose Syndra tho.

I’m fucking terrified.

Only if Le Blanc would have the patience to deal with her.

She’d almost have to, though. Syndra would have been a better ticket for the Rose back into power than Swain was, in a lot of ways.

Not necessarily, Syndra is a useful tool, but she’s far to overt a person to be a real member of the black rose. Swain works with Le Blanc because he’s a master strategist and knows the ins and outs of politics. Syndra, by contrast, is a career soldier, and that’s all that she’ll likely be. That’s what she was trained to be ever since the Noxian battlemages picked her up at the orphanage.

Where would you put her then, in Swain’s Noxus? Talent is rewarded, after all, and he’s not exactly one to overlook an asset like that.

Syndra would eventually become the Head of Noxus’ magic division, she would become a teacher for a new age of Magi, what with her power better studied than if she were on her own in Ionia, she could teach a group of talented mages ways to use magic never dreamed of.

I should note that this is based of the headcanons I developed for Syndra’s power and how it works.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled Syndra

Ask questions!

((Noxian!Syndra active)) Riven, are you so sure that deserting was the best option? Surely there are better ways to incite change than through simple rebellion.

"I can not fight for a cause I do not believe in.  Noxus had stopped fighting with there strength but instead voted for political power over military power.  I fought for Noxus because back then fighting as a soldier actually meant fighting for Noxus.  Now it would only mean fighting for some higher power who would honestly shit on your grave if they ever went to your funeral."

"I wont say your decisions were wrong, Riven, just ill timed," Syndra sat under the swordswoman’s fiery stare easily "If you had waited a bit you could have gotten people to agree with you, some to even join you. You are still the carrier of a rune weapon, status like that is not something that can be ignored or dismissed. On the day that Swain took power from Darkwill you could have said that you still served Noxus, but not what it has become. You could have stepped out and watched and come back if people began change into what you consider the ‘True Noxus.’"

She sipped her coffee, a drink she’d gotten accustomed to in Ionia “But, by that same token, it also poses a problem of a divided Noxus in an era where weakness like that would be fatal. So let’s say you continue on this path you are on currently and you are able to get a following, no mean feet under the watchful eyes of Swain, what then? People will be divided, and they will only follow the strongest.”

She listened, but could care less for her reasoning.  “Yes, and if I were to have stayed, it would be far easier to find out where I am, for I would have been in Noxus, my actions would have been seen as rebellious and weak, and my head would be rolling from my body, before I could even take my next breath.  Swain has eliminated threats to his power, Darkwill being one of them, wait Darius did it for him, that damn lap dog.  How you can even stomach being near such a weak frail man, who can not even kill a man anymore, is beyond me.  “She stated, in a rather calm state now, finding her emotions under control, and eliminating them almost immediately, face devoid of them.

"The path I am on currently will make it far harder for that bastard to keep an eye on me, even with his crows lurking about."  She added, arms crossed and shrugging.  "Now if that was all you came to ask, then you can continue on your way, and I will continue on mine."

"If you think the grand general is a weak man, Exile, then you’ve never fought him. Not truly," was what Syndra returned just as evenly to Riven’s description of the Grand General "I stand by what I said. Your timing for leaving was ill, and your desires ware unlikely to come to fruition because of it. I do not dislike you, Riven, but, with some of your philosophies, I disagree."

She shrugged in return “But, that is how it stands. Fare thee well, Exile.” She stood up, her drink finished, and took her leave of the other champion. Yes, she understood Riven’s position, but she did not agree with it.

Surpised I havn't seen this yet..What is Noxian!Syndra's view on Demacia. What does she think of the rune wars with them and what does she think of their ideals?

Demacians on the whole: Dullards and fools, but very pretty dullards and fools.

But, seriously, their society clashes with her ideals, as they stand shoulder to shoulder in a psuedo pyramid scheme where everyone supports the people around them so they all can share in the glory. This is a very non Noxian thing and seems almost alien to her since her society stresses personal gain and celebrates those who stand above their peers.

As for the Rune Wars… They were a fact of for a long time between the two city states, but the last one ended at most a couple of years after she was born. It’s mostly a study of history in her eyes, a curiosity to be studied and learned from, surely, but not much more than that. She learned a lot about it from people who spent almost their entire lives on the battlefield slinging spells against Demacian mages and causing the destruction the League of Legends was founded to prevent.

What is Noxian!Syndra's view on Noxus's use of necromancy and the champs that have been brought back with it such as Urgot and Sion.

To be frank, she hates it. In her eyes they died, and, therefore, were weak. Necromancy to bring people back temporarily in order to gain information is one thing, but bringing them back to stay?

That is wrong on so many levels

"But surely there could’ve been some one you could have turned to, I mean the Grand General may not be the friendliest person, but I believe he does have Noxus’ best interests at heart. Many of the others can, in fact, go rot in a ditch somewhere, but Swain’s pretty good at what he does."

"Do not mention that man around me."  The Exile said firmly, and immediately.  Annoyed greatly by the Noxian sovereign in almost an instant just at the mention of the generals name.  "I do not believe there is a single ill corrupted head of Noxus.  The last one does not have a body to go with it." She stated firmly once more, arms crossed glaring at the sovereign.  She loved Noxus, but she could not fight for what the current state of it stood for.  "Anything else you would like to say?  Try to convince me my decisions were wrong?  You can try, and I will guarantee you will fail."

"Can I touch your butt?"

"That depends," puts arm on the table "can you beat me at arm wrestling? And none of those pansy Demacian rules, anything goes~"

"I’m sure I can," Leona grins, "Except I don’t know if there will be any sort of fair play with you, Syndra my love~"

"My dearest Leona," she returns with a sly smile "the rules simply state you have to win, they do not say how~" after a moments thought she pulled her hand back "But the stakes are uneven, what do I get when I win?”

"Well, we could have even stakes. If I lose, you get to touch mine, and if you lose, I get to touch yours." Leona tilted her head, "Albeit, I do not quite have as luscious a behind as you do. It’s more… Hmm. Muscular, I think. And from what I have learned, most men and women appreciate a softer rump."

"My dear, you have not been around Noxian soldiers long enough if that is what you think," Syndra laughed in reply "But lets say I wanted something else, say a long in depth study of the solari relics you carry into the fields of justice, what would you consider to be fair trade for that?"

It is past midnight and I’m going to bed

Goodnight all, pleasant dreams!
